I’ve always loved drawing stars and till this day, I still find myself drawing a star in the corner of a page or to mark something important on my to-do list.
But I’ve never really been happy with the way they turned out each time. Some looked way too small while some of the stars seemed to be more uneven.
That’s when I decided I should probably pay them more attention and try to create a drawing of a star that actually resembles a proper star.

You don’t need many supplies for this drawing but you can use a ruler to make sure your lines are straight but one thing you should have Is a yellow marker for the very end.

Steps For Drawing A Star
Step 1
The first step to drawing a start is draw a narrow triangle shape like this. It should look like an upside down V.
Step 2
At the end of those two lines, draw two horizontal lines on each end. From that line, draw another line in an angle. Make sure these two angled lines end at the same point.
Step 3
Now on the left side, draw another V shape in an angle. The end of the line should match up to the point at the very top of the star and the line across from it.
Step 4
Draw another V shape and join it to the previous line and the other line on the right. Once you have done so, your star drawing should look like this.
Step 5
Now all you need to do is to use that yellow marker or pencil and color your drawing in. I’m sure you can tell how much better this drawing looks filled with color.
