So, if you’re ready to learn how to draw a seashell step by step, I’ve created this detailed guide just for you.
All you need is a pencil and a page to get started.
Steps For Drawing A Seashell
Step 1
Begin by drawing a V shape like this but leave a substantial distance in between the two lines in the middle of this shape.
Step 2
Then you just draw these corner shapes that join at the bottom of this V line. It should join together just below this shape.
Step 3
Go to the top of the shape and draw this curly line. You don’t need to worry about making it perfectly even as this will give your seashell drawing more interest.
Step 4
If you take a close look at an actual seashell, you would discover that they have lines running down them.
Draw a few lines from the top curly line towards the end of the seashell.
This extra details makes your drawing look so much better.
Step 5
You may stop drawing at the previous step if you feel your seashell drawing looks perfect as is but if you want to add an extra detail, then go ahead and draw these extra lines at the bottom of the seashell.
When you are finished with this step, you can leave your drawing as is or you can go ahead and add a pretty color to it.
