Here is the reference we will work from today. To break it down really quickly before we get started, a paw has like 4 ovals and one large round part.
We will draw the bottom part of the paw first and then draw the ovals above that.
Steps For Drawing A Paw Print
Step 1
Begin by drawing a curve like this and this will be the bottom part of the paw.
Step 2
Then draw an upside down curved heart shape and join it to that previous curved line you had just drawn. It should look sort of like a bean or a heart.
Step 3
Next up, draw the first oval that faces towards the left. Try to leave a bit of space from the first shape you have already drawn.
Step 4
Add two more ovals but be sure to space then accordingly and to know this, these two ovals align towards the middle.
Step 5
Add in the final oval that is angled towards the right. Your paw print drawing should be complete now.
Step 6
If you’re happy with the way your paw print drawing is looking, you may now move onto coloring it in.
I’ve used a nice dark shade of brown for mines and you can do that same.
