How To Draw A Cloud (Easy Tutorial For Beginners)
As much as I love clouds, I’ve always struggled to draw them properly. But then I realized this didn’t matter so much since clouds generally look different.
Some are big and puffy while others look thin and long.
After a while, I finally got the hang of drawing a cloud that I was happy with and I think you too are going to be happy with this cloud drawing.
So, if you want to learn how to draw a cloud that is simple yet still adorable, here’s a step by step tutorial just for you.

Here is the reference photo which we will sue to draw a cloud.
We will be using the cloud in the middle as a guide to drawing our cloud.
It has a pretty easy and simple design to it and I promise you it’s not going to be difficult to draw at all.
Steps For Drawing A Cloud
Step 1
The very first step you will need to do is to draw a curved shape like this. This will be the very top of the cloud.
Step 2
Next to that on the left, draw two smaller curved shapes that join together.
Step 3
Continue draw another smaller curved shape, followed by two larger curved shapes just below the very first curved line.
Step 4
Do the same as before and continue drawing curved lines as it reaches the top of the cloud.
Once you finish this step, you have now draw your very first cloud.
Step 5
To make things interesting, how about we draw another cloud next to this one?
At the top of the first cloud on the right, draw a few curved lines following the same pattern as before.
However, do try to make this cloud much smaller than the first one.
Step 6
Add a few more curved lines until it joins to the first cloud.
Your drawing should look something like this where the second cloud is behind the first.
If you would like to add a few smaller clouds next to this one, you may do so.
All you have to do is to follow these steps above and apply it to the cloud shape you want to draw.
