I’m just going to start off by saying bananas are awesome and they are definitely one of the best ingredients to a smoothie. They also have an interesting shape to them but the best bananas are the ones that are sweet but not mushy on the inside.
But enough about how great bananas are. You’re here to learn how to draw a banana, right?
The good news is that this step-by-step tutorial is perfect for anyone who wants to draw a banana but also makes it an interesting drawing.
I think you are really going to enjoy following along with this tutorial and if you haven’t drawn for some time now, this banana drawing is the best place to start.
Here is the banana that we will draw together.
As you can see, it is a banana that is peeled halfway and this little detail is what we will focus on.
To give you an idea of how we will go about drawing this banana, we’ll start by sketching out the banana itself and then move onto drawing the peels.
Steps For Drawing A Banana
This drawing is quite simple.
You’ll want to begin by drawing a curved line in an angle facing the left side.
Then draw another curved line to match the first and make it more narrow at the top.
Once you do this, you have completed the shape of the banana.
Now it’s time to draw the peels. At the bottom of the banana, draw two curved lines to create a shape that resembles a leaf.
Draw a shorter line that connects to the peel so that you can see the way the peel turns.
At the bottom of the banana where there is an empty space, draw a curved line.
Then on the right side, draw another curved line for the other peel.
Add another line that goes across the previous line.
Extend this line further down to show the other peel that looks like it’s hanging.
Then you need to draw the bottom of the banana by extending these lines further down at an angle.
Join these two lines together by drawing a small oval shape at the very end.
Now all that is left to do is to color in your banana and you’re done!
